Folklorefest

In the organizer's words:

On August 28 and 29, the Folklore Festival will once again take place on the square An der alten Kirche in Krefeld's city center.

We start on Friday with a feminist theme day, to which we have invited exclusively women's bands. A DJane will provide the right club sound in the dance area.

Friday, August 28 is the theme day "FEMINAS - Women of the World"
These bands and artists will be performing on the main stage:

BraAgas > Czech women's band with a man
Treesha > cultural fusion of Kenya and Germany
Yagody > Folk from the Ukraine
Las Karamba > Latin American female power and pure joie de vivre
DJane Füzûn > mix of world music, Brazilian boogie and soul from Krefeld

Saturday continues with a wild mix of folk and world music that invites you to dance.

On Saturday, August 29, the Folk and World Music Day will once again be a colorful mix.
Murray's Regiment from the Netherlands will be performing on Neumarkt from 3 pm.
At the same time, the Arty Club will be working with children on the theme animal sea turtle.

Hannah Juanita & The Hardliners > finest country music from the USA
El Flecha negra > Latin American rhythms from Freiburg
Les Zingueurs > French zinc roofers
Yard Vibes meet Folklorefest > reggae, dancehall, Caribbean vibes
