Findorf Festival of Pleasure 2026

Lively pleasure mile and Sunday shopping

On Sunday, June 14, Hemmstraße between the Little Butcher (Hemmstraße 99) and the intersection of Hemmstraße and Eickedorfer Straße will be transformed into a lively pleasure mile from 12 noon to 6 pm . That's when the Findorf business people will be celebrating their first gourmet festival, which will be accompanied by Sunday shopping from 1 pm.

"The gourmet festival is intended to offer everyone the opportunity to experience Findorff in all its culinary, artisanal and human facets," says Katrin Grosch, 1st Chairwoman of Findorffer Geschäftsleute e. V., describing the intention of the event and adds: "It is a declaration of love for a district that lives from its owner-managed stores, restaurants and people." In addition to established restaurants and delicatessens such as Eiscafé Cercena, Tortengold Patisserie, Findorffer Käsekontor, Casa Calma, Lilie, Metaxa 2, Findorffer Weinladen and Little Butcher, visitors can also look forward to numerous restaurants with regional specialties and high-quality products from small manufacturers that will provide culinary surprises.

The gourmet festival will kick off on Saturday, June 13, from 6 pm at the Little Butcher. There, a DJ will provide relaxed sounds in the open air with fine summer beats. The occasion is the 125th anniversary of the gastronomic location at Hemmstraße 99, where landlord Carl Ludwig Saalfeld, Webers Gaststätte, Sievers Gaststätte, Werners Bierhaus and, for some years now, Little Butcher have been a meeting place, pub and neighborhood living room all in one.
