The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra invites you to an open-air concert at the Rilling-Areal and—for the first time—to the first part of the program at the Stadtkirche Bad Cannstatt. The audience can expect the very finest music, ranging from classical to rock and hip-hop, in a relaxed summer atmosphere. Free admission. Food trucks and ice cream carts will be on site to provide refreshments. Plenty of shade is available!

From 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., visitors can enjoy a diverse program spanning various genres at the Stadtkirche and on the open-air stage at the Rilling-Areal. There’s something for every age and every musical taste. Groups from Bad Cannstatt will also be performing. The Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra will perform in various lineups, including collaborations with other guests. The joint performance with the newly founded fan orchestra is highly anticipated. Rock-inspired music will be provided by the bands from the neighborhood music school, “The Gagadeles” and “Feel the Flow.” Also taking the stage are beatboxer Pheel, bassist Sebastian Schuster, singer Moh2, and rapper Suza Tilt. The Tango Sí! quartet will bring the evening to a fiery close (7:45 p.m.).

For Younger Guests

There’s plenty on offer for young guests and their families as well. Puppeteer Emilen Truche will present one of his creations accompanied by live music in the Stadtkirche (starting at 5:00 p.m.). At the instrument workshop on the Rilling grounds, visitors of all ages can get creative with their hands and ears. Things will get colorful on the chalk-painting street. And a water play area will provide a chance to cool off.
