When Eve released her album "Scorpion" in 2001, she became one of the most celebrated hip-hop artists of her time with songs like "Who's That Girl" and the Grammy-winning track "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" feat. Gwen Stefani. "Scorpion" took the charts by storm worldwide, reaching number 4 in the Billboard charts. The album also went platinum in the USA and Canada and gold in the UK and France, while it stayed in the German charts for 15 weeks. From her clever lyrics and flawless flow to the legendary artwork and music videos, "Scorpion " was above all an impressive statement of Eve's skill, intent and independence and was nominated for Best Rap Album of the Year at the 44th Grammy Awards in 2002. Eve caused a sensation with her debut album "Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders' First Lady" and became the third female rapper in the history of hip-hop to top the Billboard 200. With the follow-up albums "Scorpion" (2001), "Eve-Olution" (2002) and "Lip Lock" (2013) as well as her Top 40 hit singles "Gangsta Lovin'" feat. Alicia Keys and "Tambourine" feat. Swizz Beatz (2007), the rapper has sold more than 10 million records worldwide. She has sold over 10 million records worldwide and collaborated on hits with artists such as Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, The Roots, Missy Elliott, Janet Jackson, Doja Cat, Honey Dijon, Prince, Nate Dogg, Sean Paul and Shaggy. Her current single "Reload" feat. Konshens was released in 2019, which was followed by further collaborations that - like Eve's hits - are listened to by several million people on digital streaming platforms every month. She has also been a successful actress in films and TV productions since 1999, co-hosted the CBS talk show "The Talk" and was nominated twice for a Daytime Emmy Award. Just last month, Eve co-hosted the MOBO Awards in Manchester and announced a special 25th Anniversary vinyl of the "Scorpion" album. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of this successful album, the rapper is coming to the UK and Europe this fall: the Scorpion Tour will also take her to Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, Zurich, Frankfurt and Cologne in October.
