Europa String Choir - Klangwelten moderner Kammermusik

With Europa String Choir, the audience at the Hoftheater can expect an intense concert evening full of sound, energy and atmosphere.

For over 30 years, the internationally renowned ensemble has stood for innovative original compositions and touching instrumental sound art. Finely nuanced soundscapes alternate with powerful, energetic passages and create an atmosphere that is both intense and cinematic.

The special theater atmosphere provides the ideal setting for this - also with regard to the numerous compositions of film music that the ensemble has created for internationally award-winning documentaries and films.

But this concert is much more than a classical music evening: between the pieces, the musicians take the audience on a journey through stories, backgrounds and special moments from over three decades of musical journeys together. The result is a lively dialog between music, emotion and narrative.

With eight releases to date, the ensemble's music has been highly praised internationally. The current album Lemon Crash - 25th Anniversary Edition received the "Best Album 2025" award from Cyclical Magazine.
