A story of hope

Sit down, take a deep breath and yet find no peace. Wars, the climate, the shift to the right, social division, inflation... and then there's that damn chair.

Nothing feels the same anymore. No stability. Just this creeping feeling that control is slipping away - that your life is slipping through your fingers like sand.
"Entglitten" takes this feeling and transforms it into an evening full of humor, artistry and surprising lightness.

With one of the simplest everyday objects at the center: the chair.

But this chair is different. It resists, disappears, reappears, contradicts, wobbles, plays along - and through elaborately produced animations and mysterious tricks becomes a living counterpart, an adversary, a mirror.

Slapstick meets magical moments. Surprising acrobatics meet poetic images. An enchanting evening of theater unfolds - tragicomic, intense, light and yet touching - telling of losing hope... and how to find it again. A moving, humorous journey about falling down, getting up and moving on.

Lukas Aue, *1981, is a professional artist who completed his training at the ETAGE in Berlin in 2006 and has been working in the fields of theater, variety, opera and entertainment for over 20 years. In addition to acrobatics and pantomime, his individual movement language also mixes clowning, acting and dance.
