Einsteiger:innenkurs Töpfern an der Drehscheibe

The beginner's course is perfect for anyone who just wants to give pottery on the wheel a try.

In a small group of no more than 3 participants, you’ll learn the basics of throwing on the potter’s wheel. I’ll guide you step by step through the entire process and help you shape your own pieces.

At the end, each person will choose their favorite glaze for their pieces. I’ll then finish, glaze, and fire them.

Course duration:3 hours

Content:

• Introduction to materials and techniques
• First attempts on the potter’s wheel
• Throwing your own small vessels
• Choosing a glaze color

After the course:
I’ll take care of the remaining work, glazing, and firing of the pieces. You can then pick up your finished ceramics a few weeks later. 

Course objective:
To put the basics of pottery on the wheel into practice and gain the confidence to experiment.

Includes all materials, glaze, bisque and glaze firings, water, and snacks
