The Isarflux team of the Gasteig trainees has invited three doom metal bands to the "Doom Night", who are friends and like to share their fans. Welcome to the gloom!

Lares

Lares is a four-piece psychedelic doom/black metal band from Berlin that has been carving its own path through the dark, experimental fringes of hard music for over a decade. Based on doom, sludge and early black metal traditions and at the same time strongly influenced by the psychedelia of the 1960s/70s and the grunge and noise sounds of the 1990s.

Their latest album "Et in Arcadia Ego" is considered a powerful artistic statement: a single, 27-minute long form composition about mortality, repetition and the illusion of utopia. Despite its ambitious structure, the album further cemented Lares' reputation for fearless experimentation and emotional depth.

Hidas

The trio Hidas unleash a dark soundscape that explores the boundaries of doom metal. Dark sounds and powerful rhythms promise a journey through the abysses of the genre. A sound adventure without words, where every note tells a dark and leaden story.

Florian Bätz (guitar), Richard Noyn (bass) and Christoph Mühlbauer (drums) create a haunting instrumental experience that transports the audience into a world of heaviness.

Raging Sloth

The sound cosmos of the doom & sludge band Raging Sloth, founded in Munich in 2018, captivates with its contrast of frenzy and inertia. The three musicians Max Horch (vocals, bass), Jonas Rückinger (drums) and Mykhailo Nadon aka Mischa (guitar) see themselves in the tradition of the genre's "grand old men".

The ominous mixture of heavy, oppressive walls of sound and furious, hard groove riffs is reminiscent of bands like Y.O.B. or Conan.
