Rene El Khazraje, known to many as MC Rene, presents “The Unasked Answer,” an extraordinary musical reading tour that blends literature, memory, and music.

Drawing from his autobiographical narrative, he reads selected passages from his book and intertwines them with songs from the accompanying album of the same name. The read texts and music enter into a dialogue, together telling stories of origin, family, identity, social mobility, failure, and the search for belonging.

The journey takes us from Braunschweig’s Weststadt district through defining moments in German hip-hop history to a late encounter with his own father in Morocco.

“Die ungestellte Antwort” is neither a classic rap show nor an ordinary reading. It is a personal evening that bridges the gap between book and stage, between narrative and song, between memory and the present.
