For thirty years now, Sandra, Emma and Lily have treated themselves to a dance weekend together once a year to escape the daily grind. But the lively break full of rhythm and friendship starts anything but auspiciously: on arrival, the supposed luxury hotel turns out to be a run-down disappointment. Instead of the promised splendor, the plaster is crumbling, and porter Fred is the last remaining employee, bravely holding the fort with a lot of charm and even more excuses.

While Lily is on the phone to her much younger lover, Emma dutifully seeks harmony and Sandra, as a successful career woman, wants to keep the reins in her hands, desperation grows. And when the star dance teacher they've announced cancels due to illness and no other hotel room is available because of the London Marathon, the weekend is finally on the rocks.

But giving up is out of the question for the three friends: without further ado, Fred slips into the role of the hot Spanish dance instructor and brings not only movement but also unexpected emotions into play with great enthusiasm. Between sweaty dance lessons, lots of alcohol and lively songs, old wounds soon open up ...
