Paper Making – August 25, 2:00–6:00 p.m.

Discover something new, make it yourself, create together: During the paper-making workshop, we’ll not only make our own paper but also learn to appreciate the great value of our resources. Together, of course! Sound exciting? Then join us.

Cyanotype – August 29, 2:00–6:00 p.m.

The sun as a brush: Discover how light creates unique, deep-blue works of art through the art of cyanotype. This light-based printing technique offers a great opportunity to think creatively about the relationship between nature and industry, as well as climate and materials.

Letterpress Printing – September 8, 2:00–6:00 p.m.

Give your words weight: Through mobile letterpress printing with lead type—just like in Gutenberg’s day—you’ll not only learn an ancient craft, but you’ll also experience writing, reproduction, and co-creation as democratic practices.

Bookbinding – September 12, 2:00–6:00 p.m.

Give your thoughts, sketches, or dreams a unique home: Through bookbinding, you’ll design your very own personal medium from the ground up. Along the way, you’ll also sharpen your awareness of material cycles and the cultural significance of books.
