Screening of the documentary film “I’ll Play It for You – Ja wam to zagram” about the life of Wanda Wiłkomirska.
“I’ll Play It for You” (“Ja wam to zagram”) is a 90-minute documentary produced in 2009 for Polish television about the legendary Polish violinist Wanda Wiłkomirska. The film is not a traditional biography, but rather a personal conversation: Wiłkomirska speaks candidly about her life, her career, and the decisions that shaped her. Over the course of two years, we followed her with our camera in the U.S., Australia, Germany, and Poland.
The result is a direct and honest glimpse into the life of an extraordinary woman.
This event is part of the exhibition “Wanda Wiłkomirska – Between Music and Freedom.”
