We live in a diverse world full of contrasts and similarities. Ideas and attributions about different genders, cultures and diversity, power structures and family and working models sometimes diverge widely.
Last year, the Association of German Writers in Lower Saxony/Bremen (VS in ver.di) issued a call for entries for a literary anthology on the topic of "Living together. Aspects of democratic existence" among its members. In spring 2026, the book entitled "Ein Rhythmus über alle Grenzen" was published by Klassenbuch Verlag Hannover from a selection of the works received. 18 authors have dedicated themselves to the topic of living together in this world with poetry or prose.
Martina Burandt, Béatrice Hecht-El Minshawi, Brigitte Kaminski, Sonja Ruf, Kina Schmitz and Wolfgang Uster will be reading at the book premiere in Bremen.
