Evening is falling. The air already smells of twilight, and the ground still holds the day’s warmth. One last taste of summer. Beautiful words on the skin, a few verses floating in the air. Laughing together one more time, stocking up on a little poetry before it gets colder again.

For nearly 15 years, the Best of Poetry Slam has been drawing sold-out crowds to the Musikalische Komödie. Time to get out into the fresh air again! The best poems of the year, the best slammers in the state—an evening that makes us feel light. You’ll be amazed by cascades of words, still hanging on to the last clever thought—and suddenly caught off guard by how simple everything can be when the most difficult thoughts dissolve into laughter,

In short: It’s going to be really good. Really funny. We’ll remember it for a long time to come.

Seating is unassigned. There is no guarantee of a seat. For safety and space reasons, blankets and umbrellas are not permitted.
Parking is very limited in the vicinity of the GeyserHaus outdoor theater. Please use public transportation whenever possible.
