Battlesword - Melodic Death Metal from the Lower Rhine, convincing since 1999.
Since their foundation in 1999, Battlesword have held up the banner of melodic death metal. With a mixture of powerful melodies and aggressive riffs, the band has earned a solid place in the scene. Battlesword have performed live both nationally and internationally, for example at the Tolminator Festival in Slovenia and the Aaargh Festival in Baden-Württemberg.
In 2019, Battlesword celebrated their 20th anniversary as a band and honored this with their third album "...And Death Cometh Upon Us". This was followed two years later by the album "Towards The
Unknown" on MDD Records followed two years later, which once again gained international recognition with its catchy melodies and distinctive rhythms.
In 2024, Battlesword can now look back on 25 years of band history and have a new album to mark this anniversary. And with the tilel "(XX)V - Of Tales And Tragedies", the band indicates exactly that - 25 years of band existence and the release of the fifth studio album, which was released again in September 2024 via MDD Records.
Battlesword thus remain an integral part of the melodic death metal scene - with new songs that are sure to provide plenty of movement and neck pain at the upcoming shows.

Tyranthrope (often abbreviated as TYT) is an international crossover and thrash metal band from the Lower Rhine region (Krefeld) and the Netherlands, founded in 2020.
The five-piece formation combines snotty thrash metal with hard hardcore vibes and a classic punk rock attitude. Lyrically, the band focuses on political and socially critical topics such as anti-fascism, rebellion and anti-religion.
