Spark rethinks classical music. The quintet places Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart & Co in a fresh context and creates moments of connection with the sounds and attitude to life of the present. Classical at heart, unconventional, curious and non-conformist on the outside, the group pitches its tent of ideas on an open field between classical music, minimal music, pop, rock and avant-garde. ECHO Klassik award winner in the category "Classical Music without Borders".

Styles are mixed with relish and nonchalance and the numerous sound variations that their rich instrumentarium of over 40 different flutes, violin, viola, cello, melodica and piano has to offer are explored. No two pieces are the same, and yet they all bear the ensemble's very own, unmistakable signature.
