Shoegaze Night: Pretty Average, Garlands and Bloodflowers

On September 24, 2026, Fuzz Me Tender presents three of Germany's most exciting female-fronted shoegaze acts. They share the stage at Stereo Wonderland for an evening of guitar walls, noise and dreamy soundscapes.

Bloodflowers (Düsseldorf): Psychedelic stoner rock (popNRW nominee) “Like a David Lynch soundtrack” (Visions Magazine)—only now with way more fuzz. Following their success at the Herzberg Festival and their nomination for Best Newcomer, Bloodflowers are back with new, heavier material. Atmospheric vocals meet massive riffs. Ready for the big stages in 2026.

Garlands (Berlin): Garlands combines the noise of My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth with floating harmonies reminiscent of Nico and Stereolab. Lyrically, the songs revolve around states of transition, life in a metric society, and impermanence – captured in dense soundscapes that oscillate between melancholy, rebellion, and new beginnings. On their tour in September, they will perform their new single, among other new songs. Their new album, which is supported by Initiative Musik, will be released in early 2027.

Pretty Average (Berlin): Pretty Average channels raw distortion and unapologetic storytelling into a sharp-edged, live-driven sound. Frontwoman Candy delivers songs from a female perspective on identity, social rejection, and generational uncertainty — her rough, unfiltered voice cutting through waves of gritty guitars. Their new album The Highs and Lows of Being Pretty Average captures the spirit of a band built for the stage — direct, urgent, and fiercely alive.
