Shibari Beginners' Class with Maria Morbid

Shibari is a form of bondage that originated in Japan and is about tying people with ropes. In this workshop I will teach you the basics and plan to pass on my excitement to you ;) After this workshop you will have at hand the first skills to deepen your rope practise with yourself and with others.

We will discuss the cultural and historical origins of Shibari, communication and safety basics as well as talk about which materials to use and how to handle ropes. You will learn some basic knots, a self-tie on the legs and a simple upper body harness on your partner.

You can attend the workshop as a pair or come on your own. Please come in comfortable and sporty clothing. There are ropes available for all participants. The workshop is suitable for beginners with no prior experience. People of all genders, bodies and sexualities are welcome. <3

Accessibility: The location is on the ground floor but not wheelchair-accessible. There are 5 stairs that lead up. The workshop is taking place in a small room within a private atmosphere.
