Zusammenhalt in Europa | Poetry-Slam-Reihe

At the “Solidarity in Europe” poetry slam, we turn our gaze to Europe, look beyond our own horizons, and discover what we have in common. Renowned slam poets present their work through finely crafted texts brimming with eloquence, humor, and fresh perspectives. This is the place where texts resound, words echo off the walls, and voices gently caress the ears. Whether it’s a stance, humor, or emotion; whether it’s poetry, storytelling, or stand-up—today, the focus is on a deeply personal perspective on Europe. Seven minutes to
change the world. Seven minutes to light up the audience’s synapses and mirror neurons and win over the audience jury. 
 

The strongest slam voices in Northern Germany will take the mic.

The Lower Saxony-wide poetry slam series “Solidarity in Europe” is held under the patronage of Minister for European Affairs Melanie Walter and is a collaboration between the European Information Center (EIZ) Lower Saxony, the poetry slam collective “MACHT WORTE!” and the Lister Turm Community Center.
