"What Silence Holds" eine Ausstellung von Vanessa Meyer

Presented by ArtWalk Stuttgart as part of the summer festival at AREAL SÜD, Vanessa Meyer will showcase works in her exhibition “What Silence Holds” at Bruno on July 24—works that draw attention to what often remains unspoken—powerful, emotional, and full of quiet depth.

The works on display were created during a time marked by change, exhaustion, responsibility, love, and conflict. They speak to the quiet strength of being able to bear all these contrasts at once—and to grow from them.

It was only during the first COVID-19 lockdown that Vanessa Meyer discovered painting as a form of expression. Since then, she has been creating works in which genuine, unfiltered emotions find their place. With her special love for imperfection, she combines abstract painting and nude art into an expressive interplay. Her paintings invite viewers to rediscover self-acceptance, vulnerability, and inner strength.

“What Silence Holds” is an invitation to pause for a moment and look beyond the surface—to a place where emotions don’t need to be explained, but can simply be felt.
