Wolfgang Palaver, theologian and academic teacher of Peter Thiel, has shed light on the religious roots of this thinking. Journalist and author Arnd Henze looks at the political practice of such ideologies: In his book With God against Democracy, he shows how Christian nationalism - particularly in the USA - is becoming a threat to democracy and the rule of law.
