With our tasting series, we’ll take you on a journey through the world of wine—this time to Austria. Together, we’ll discover five wines, hear their stories, and take our time tasting and asking questions. No prior knowledge required. The event includes a small selection of antipasti, sourdough bread, and water.

Theme: Austria
Austria is one of Europe’s most exciting wine regions—and one of the most underrated. In the Wachau, Kremstal, Burgenland, and Weinviertel regions, wines of impressive precision and distinct character are produced. Grüner Veltliner and Riesling dominate the white wines, while Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt produce powerful, characterful reds. Austrian winemakers often work with great care in the vineyard—many using biodynamic methods or following Demeter guidelines.

On this evening, we’ll explore Austrian wine regions, grape varieties, and wine styles—without the technical jargon, but with stories about the winemakers.
