People talk about how they fought their way up from the dark side of life, what makes them happy today and how they define freedom for themselves,
e.g. a happiness researcher from Hamburg (for the scientific perspective), the bestselling author Klaus-Peter Wolf, a dropout and Ukrainian, a nun.
The main protagonist is Sven, a homeless man on his way from the streets to a supposedly new life.
The protagonists take a seat on a red folding movie theater chair and travel across Germany, from Hamburg to the Ruhr area to the Zugspitze.
