In the organizer's words:

We love summer, we love the sun, we strengthen solar energy in Ehrenfeld.

With the Sommer Sonne Solar project, we at ökoRAUSCH want to promote the joy and interest in solar energy, break down inhibitions in dealing with technology and empower us all to harvest the sun's energy. Our goal is as clear as day: we want more PV modules to be installed on Ehrenfeld's roofs and balconies, on garden sheds and bicycle ports!

That is why we are bringing together various players and formats to offer easily accessible, free advice and information:

In a solar costume specially designed for the project, our art figure "Ray" strolls through all the neighborhoods of Ehrenfeld throughout the summer and literally brings the energy of the sun to the streets. The performance transforms photovoltaics as an artistic-creative interpretation into a sensual experience.
