The group photo leaves little room for interpretation: the repertoire of the Munich a cappella choir VoicesInTime is incredibly diverse. Under its new director and conductor, Sonja Lachenmayr, the stylistic range of this unique vocal ensemble has expanded once again, featuring unexpected combinations of vocal timbres and arrangements in which all vocal ranges complement each other in a refreshing way.

With an authentic approach but also incorporating new ideas, the basses, baritones, tenors, altos, and sopranos tackle chart-topping hits by Ed Sheeran or Nina Chuba with groove, swing, and exuberance; they pay homage to Sportfreunde Stiller, breathe new life into Genesis, honor Duke Ellington, and put a smile on our faces with Charlie Chaplin’s “Smile.” Jazz happens.
