»VIELLEICHT ERLEBE ICH DEN FRIEDEN NOCH« - ÜBERLEBENDE DER NS-VERFOLGUNG IN DER UKRAINE
In the organizer's words:
The traveling exhibition “Perhaps I Will Still Live to See Peace” tells the stories of people who have experienced persecution, war, and loss—and whose stories continue to resonate to this day. The exhibition centers on striking photographs by Ukrainian photographer Kostjantyn Tschernitschkin, which portray ten survivors of Nazi persecution. The images are complemented by personal quotes and brief biographical texts that offer moving insights into individual life stories.
The exhibition combines historical memory with contemporary perspectives while also building a bridge to the present situation in Ukraine. It invites visitors to engage with questions of memory, humanity, and responsibility—in a quiet, poignant, and highly relevant way.
