Vernissage ‚Fast eine Tonne: Atemraum‘

The DG Kunstraum cordially invites you to the vernissage of the exhibition 'Fast eine Tonne. Breathing Space'.

At the opening, Jin Lee, Alexander Gerner and Christoph Lammers will present the performance 'Becoming'. Whether sound, movement or drawing - the rhythm of breathing and the beat of the action are closely interwoven. Against this backdrop, the artists experiment with how they influence each other through their breathing, change rhythms and encounter each other in space. The performance is characterized by spontaneity, intuition and trust in the moment. The work, which was created in preparation for the exhibition, can also be seen as a video work in the exhibition.

The group exhibition 'Almost a ton. Atemraum' reflects on breathing as the origin and limit of existence through different artistic positions. The exhibition brings together contemporary works that deal with air, breath and physical perception and make this invisible process tangible in different ways.
