The way into these pictures is blocked. Darkness, hedges, branches, curtains and wafts of mist conceal something we are not meant to see. The opacity divides our world into here and there, inside and outside, known and unknown. What could be "behind" it? Blickdichtes challenges us to understand the invisible as part of our world. The deliberately reduced, restrained, contemplative images by Anna Kiiskinen, Anne Pincus and Chris Tomas invite viewers to fill what is hidden from view with their own content.
