“You cannot step into the same river twice,” says Heraclitus; “all being is becoming.” One thinks of Stuttgart 21 and realizes: the ancient Greek was right. 
“All that is, is becoming”—this is the conclusion Urban Priol regularly reaches when he’s working on his press release just before the deadline.

His current program, too, is like a river in constant flux. With the watchful eyes of Argus, the cabaret artist follows the steady flow of political events—from the stagnant waters of the grand coalition to the meandering trickle of the traffic-light coalition, all the way to the intellectual shallows of the brown swamp. Priol always has his finger on the pulse of the times; spontaneous and up-to-the-minute, he often mocks faster than his shadow can think. He rumbles, thunders, and flashes, and thus, like a cleansing thunderstorm, he makes many things shine in a bright, cheerful light. The master of parody plows boundlessly through the night, distilling complex issues down to their essence and transforming opaque, murky whirlpools into pure spring water. With joy, he plunges into the floods of daily madness, dives into the abyss of the absurd, satirizes with relish, and has just as much fun as his audience.
