Tufting Workshop Einsteiger*innen

In the organizer's words:

This workshop is suitable for everyone, whether you want to tuft for the first time or already have experience.
In 4 hours you will experience the complete process of rug making and create your own unique hand-tufted rug, which you can then take home with you.

What can you expect?

• You can choose a motif from our templates or bring your own design. We will transfer it to the fabric in advance so that you can start tufting straight away.

• After a brief introduction to using the tufting gun, you will start with your design and apply it to the fabric step by step.

• After tufting, the reverse side is glued. If you wish, your rug can be given a non-slip backing or hooks if you want to hang it up as a tapestry.

• Finally, we trim and shave the rug so that the colors and shapes stand out clearly. This creates a clean, high-quality result that shows off your design perfectly.

At the end of the workshop, you will hold your self-made rug in your hands.
