Summer in the city often means the same old songs in the same old pub gardens. This year, Tom-Tom Discotec is doing things differently and bringing one of the most exciting selectors from London to us: Cheb Mimo.

As a resident at NTS Radio and part of the Shakshouka Records cosmos, Mimo has a talent for digging up music that feels both ancient and completely new at the same time. He moves with stylistic confidence between North African cassette pop, analog synths and global grooves that start exactly where the heart beats faster than the mind. No unnecessary noise, but pure musical substance.
