Post-grunge heroes Theory of a Deadman on tour with new EP series: Live in Hamburg, Munich and Cologne in February 2027!
Presented by ROCK ANTENNE & In Munich
Theory Of A Deadman have forged their own path as one of the most uncompromising forces in rock today - underpinned by several multi-platinum hits and albums as well as sold-out concerts worldwide. Combining witty, open-hearted songwriting with unmistakable riffs and melodic choruses, the Canadian band - consisting of Tyler Connolly, Dean Back, Dave Brenner and Joe Dandeneau - has outlasted the zeitgeist and asserted itself as a multi-faceted rock powerhouse. With hits like the fan-favorite "Santa Monica" and platinum hits like "Hate My Life", "Bitch Came Back" and "Not Meant To Be", the quartet has placed a total of twelve songs in the Top 10 of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Charts.
To date, the band has received five nominations for the prestigious Juno Award (more than any other Canadian artist) and has received high praise from publications such as 'American Songwriter', 'Billboard', 'Classic Rock Magazine' and many others. Now, with their latest studio effort "Funeral Songs, Vol. 1" - the first of a two-part EP series - the quartet delivers another triumph: an undeniably anthemic and thoroughly authentic rock 'n' roll work, featuring songs like "Barricade" and "Winnebago (Lay Low)" - with much more to come before next year's tour. After a few years of intense touring through arenas and clubs in the United States, Canada, the UK and Europe - following their return to their traditional heavy rock sound - the initial pressure was off them. This allowed for a sense of liberation that they hadn't experienced in previous studio recordings.
"We definitely felt such a sense of freedom on this project to do exactly what we really wanted to do," Tyler continues. "We wanted to create new music that sounded and felt like the old Theory of a Deadman. Only with the knowledge and experience of today."
