Kickoff of the New 2026–27 Season

We’re celebrating our new 2026–27 season with a spectacular kickoff: We invite you to the 2026 Theater Festival! On Sunday, September 27, the OPAL and the surrounding grounds will be transformed into a dazzling stage for all four artistic disciplines. Join us for a sneak peek at “Journey to the Moon” and let yourself be enchanted by the great arias of the new season. Enjoy a first look at the new dance performance “Dreamer,” or challenge the dance ensemble to a dance-off! Everyone knows about 15 minutes of fame, but what if you only have two minutes? Visit the “Two Minute Show” and experience it for yourself. In addition to many other highlights, this time you can also explore the area around the OPAL on a ride on the Technoseum’s narrow-gauge railway. An exciting mystery for the whole family awaits you on the ride! As the grand finale, we invite you to our spectacular gala concert. We look forward to seeing you there!
