In his work, choreographer Josep Caballero García explores artistic principles of resistance—against norms, discrimination, and the demand for homogeneous societies.
What does it mean today to have a place in society without having to defend it? Will there ever be bodies that move beyond power? That grant each other freedom and space? In *The Tide*, eleven dancers from Unusual Symptoms and tanzbar_bremen explore forms of gentle resistance and, in doing so, discover the potential of repetitive movements. Between swaying and rocking, playfulness and steadiness, they listen to the ebb and flow of their steps and defy stagnation.
