THE DAD HORSE EXPERIENCE TRIO

Quirky Songs from the Depths of the Soul

The Dad Horse Experience is the band project of Bremen-based singer-songwriter and musician Dad Horse Ottn. His original compositions, written in German and English, stylistically straddle the genres of alternative country and chanson. His lyrics are characterized by a blend of melancholy, spiritual longing, and dry humor, occasionally combined with a snotty punk attitude. He himself describes his music as “surreal basement music.”

Since 2008, Ottn has toured throughout Europe, as well as the U.S., Russia, and Australia, releasing six LPs and CDs during that time.

In 2022, the ensemble released two new recordings: the album “At the Limbo” and the 10-inch single “Nacht wie ein Messer/Cuxhaven.”

The Dad Horse XP Trio features:
