Founded in Waterford, Michigan, in 2001, The Black Dahlia Murder is one of the most critically acclaimed and enduring acts in American extreme metal. Signed to Metal Blade Records since their debut album *Unhallowed* (2003), the band has released ten studio albums—eight of which entered the U.S. Billboard 200 charts, with *Ritual* (2011) reaching its highest position at No. 31. Through tireless touring and an unwavering commitment to their craft, they have built a passionate, global fan base. Numerous headlining appearances on the “Summer Slaughter Tour,” appearances at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Graspop Metal Meeting, Louder Than Life, Ozzfest, and the Warped Tour, as well as awards—including *Metal Hammer*’s “Golden Gods Award” for Best Underground Band—define a career marked by consistency, passion, and artistic growth.
