Sweet Spot 2026 – Urban Tennis at Schwabinger Tor
On Saturday, August 1, the plaza in front of the Andaz Munich will once again become an urban tennis court. In collaboration with World Club Tennis, Schwabinger Tor is bringing together sports, summer vibes, and a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere.
The focus is on short, dynamic tennis matches played in 3-point mode: Whoever scores three points first wins and advances directly to the next round. Everyone can join in—whether you play regularly or just want to give tennis a try. Feel free to bring your own rackets, but equipment is also available on-site.
In addition to the central court, there are other sports stations and games where skill, reaction time, and—above all—having fun together are what count. If you need a break, you can watch the action around the court, stroll through the car-free district, or enjoy a bite to eat at the restaurants in Schwabinger Tor.
Café Lisa offers grilled food and drinks to keep you energized. The Bicicletta coffee bar brings a sweet, refreshing treat to the event with its ice cream truck. The other restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood are also open and invite you to linger.
Whether you’re active on the court or participating in the side games, or simply relaxing as a spectator: Sweet Spot is a sporty summer day for everyone who’s in the mood for exercise, socializing, and an urban atmosphere.
