I SAW THE TV GLOW was our Film of the Year in 2024; so this new deconstruction of the horror genre by Jane Schoenbrun simply had to be part of our summer program! A director is set to shoot the umpteenth sequel to a slasher franchise and tries to recruit the eccentric “final girl” from the first installment for her film. On the set of the “Camp Miasma” series, reality and bloody fiction increasingly blur, giving way to a reflection on the very essence of every slasher film: sex.
