Description: In this workshop, dancers of all levels can immerse themselves in the world of urban dance. The program includes the styles of the 70s with popping and locking, the house dance of the 80s, the old school hip hop of the 90s and the modern new style hip hop of today. The course includes technique, basic steps, choreography and freestyle skills.

Under the guidance of Dhélé Agbetou, participants can improve their ability to learn steps, improvise, understand their body and express themselves individually through dance. The course is suitable for anyone who enjoys movement, wants to discover their artistic skills and meet other enthusiastic movers.

Dhélé Agbetou is at home in both urban and contemporary dance. He has won numerous hip hop battles in Germany, France, Israel, South Africa and Japan and tours internationally as a dancer. For over 10 years, he has been committed to bringing hip hop culture closer to children and young people through dance. Among other things, he founded the now international Urban Stylez festival in Bielefeld in 2017. In 2021, he received the Bielefeld Culture Prize for his initiative. Dhélé is the youngest board member of the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland, where he is committed to the expansion of sustainable structures in urban dance.
