In the organizer's words:
The Viennese collective TAKESHI’S CASHEW will release their new album, “Planet Odyssey 64,” on October 30, 2026. After touring the world with their first two albums, the band took a creative break and is now returning with a new sound. The band’s previous analog cosmofunk sound has been expanded to include electro influences. The six musicians experimented with old synthesizers, drew inspiration from vintage video game themes, and thus created a novel sonic universe. Their infectious enthusiasm for music gave rise to the idea for a concept album titled “Planet Odyssey 64.” Join us on a journey with this extraordinary and truly one-of-a-kind group.
