Tage des Exils 2026: Viola im Exil
In the organizer's words:
Duo Brembeck-Adler & Gremmelspacher
The evening is dedicated to works by Hans Gál, Paul Hindemith, Paul Ben-Haim, and Karl Weigl: four composers whose lives were marked by persecution and exile during the Nazi dictatorship. Julia Rebekka Brembeck-Adler (viola) and Axel Gremmelspacher (piano) bring to life the fascinating contrasts and aesthetic similarities in these compositions. A concert that brings 20th-century music history to life.
