The successful “Swing Manouche” concert series brings European jazz culture to the lake. On December 13, the Schlossberghalle in Starnberg will be transformed into a venue brimming with energy, virtuosity, and French flair.
The evening will center on two extraordinary artists:Maria Pascualfrom Barcelona, a charismatic singer with a commanding stage presence and warm expressiveness, andHugo Guezbar, whose spirited playing and stylistic elegance immediately captivate the audience. Together, they will guide the audience through an evening blendinggypsy swing, chanson, Latin influences, and European jazz.
The program is supported by a top-notch rhythm section: internationally sought-after guitaristGiangiacomo Rossoand Munich-based bassist, curator, and series founderJulia Hornungprovide a pulsating soundscape, groove, and subtle interplay.
The audience can expect a concert brimming with joy, musical sophistication, and that special intimacy for which the“Swing Manouche”series has become known. An evening that blends the golden era of jazz with modern energy—vibrant, elegant, and immediate.
