🏖️🌴😁 The SUMMER SESSION is back!

After a one-year hiatus, we’re celebrating our summer event for the whole community again on Saturday, August 8, 2026—from noon to midnight here at Boulderwelt Dortmund.

Whether you’re in the mood to work up a sweat, hang out, enjoy the summer, or do it all at once: There’s something for everyone!

Here’s what’s in store for you at the SUMMER SESSION:
🌞 30 special boulders for all skill levels

Starting at 12 p.m., our 30 specially set Summer Session boulders will be open for you. The boulders are loosely numbered in order of increasing difficulty—from easy to really tricky.

Whether you just want to try a few cool boulders or take part in the fun competition: it’s up to you.

👉 Important for the rankings: Log your tops online via Easy Comp. Only results entered there will count toward the rankings.

At check-in, you’ll receive a numbered ticklist. You can fill it out throughout the day and drop it in our box before the lottery.

At 8 p.m., we’ll draw the winners during our big lottery.
With a little luck, you’ll win awesome prizes from our partners La Sportiva, Camp, Red Chili, and Kletterretter.

🍹🔥 Summer Lounge, Cocktails, BBQ & Freshly Drawn Beer

Our Summer Chill Area is waiting for you right outside the entrance—with a cocktail stand, cool drinks, fresh draft beer, a BBQ, and plenty of summer vibes.

The grill will be open from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and drinks will be available starting at noon.

After the lottery, the fun continues in a relaxed atmosphere with music, drinks, the grill, some bouldering on the side, and a cozy community evening.

For the SUMMER SESSION, you’ll only pay the regular gym admission fee.
