Summer Art Camp 2026

The Summer Art Camp 2026 is a seven-day artistic experience program that starts in Bonn, extends to Cologne and finally returns to Bonn.

The focus is not on traditional learning, but on experiencing and creatively immersing oneself in the surroundings. Inspired by the streets, the architecture, nature and the people along the way, we develop new artistic concepts every day. These can take the form of urban sketching, free drawing, working with acrylic paints and other creative techniques.

All materials required are included in the all-inclusive price. The camp also sees itself as an intensive visual journal project: impressions, processes and works will be accompanied photographically and videographically throughout the entire duration. These documentary recordings will be sent to the participants in digital form by email at the end of the camp.

The Summer Art Camp is a creative journey that combines art, city and nature - a joint discovery and creation between Bonn and Cologne, full of unique impressions that will be remembered.

The Summer Art Camp is expressly not aimed at a specific artistic level or talent. It is open to beginners who want to gain initial experience and learn basic techniques, as well as to amateur artists who want to deepen their passion for drawing and painting, and to professional creatives who are looking for new impulses and perspectives.

The focus of this seven-day program is on sharing and creating a valuable, intensive experience with many lasting memories. We walk through the cities together, have conversations about art and perception and discover streets, neighborhoods and special places from an artistic perspective.

An important part of the camp are small creative challenges in different locations such as parks, cafés or everyday urban situations. Drawing and painting is done there under changing conditions to encourage spontaneity and expressiveness. The program is supplemented by targeted technical exercises, particularly in the area of quick sketching, in order to strengthen observation skills and drawing confidence. The result is a lively combination of artistic practice, shared experience and inspiring exchange within the group.
