StuStaCulum 2026: Urban flair and pure passion for culture

The StuStaCulum in the student town of Freimann is Munich's answer to the question of genuine, handmade culture. Over four days, the area around the five stages is transformed into a place where over 100 performances provide unforgettable moments.

Cultural enjoyment from early to late
The festival comes to life early and offers much more than just evening entertainment. A packed program awaits you in the early afternoon: enjoy relaxed jazz (like the TUMJazzBand), acoustic sounds from singer-songwriters or rousing improv theater. While you relax in the sun in the atrium or in front of the Dada Stage, you can get creative yourself at numerous workshops - from screen printing and graffiti to beer yoga. There is also a colorful children's program for the youngest guests with face painting, handicrafts and a movement course. A special highlight: the "Golden Weißwurscht" cabaret award is back!

Unique backdrop and musical range
The striking architecture of the student city provides an impressive, lively backdrop for the festival motto "Sun and Concrete". In the vibrant festival tent, the rock, pop and ska music gets loud and energetic in the afternoon. In the Hans-Scholl-Halle, the hip-hop scene meets for dance battles, while KADE opens up new musical horizons with dub and electronic subcultures on its open-air stage. This diversity makes the festival an indispensable part of Munich's cultural summer.

100% volunteer work - a project with soul
What makes the StuStaCulum so special is that it is organized entirely on a voluntary basis. Behind the event is the Kulturleben in der Studentenstadt e.V. association, which puts its heart and soul into organizing a festival by young people for the whole city. This innovative strength is also reflected in the technology: with StuStaPay, the festival uses a specially developed, cashless open source payment system.

Celebrating safely with attitude
Respectful cooperation is the top priority. The festival is clearly committed to values such as mindfulness, acceptance and respect. A dedicated awareness team is on hand to ensure that all visitors feel comfortable and can have a good time together.

Price information:

Tickets can be purchased in advance for as little as €13. Tickets are available at the Box Office for €17. For technical reasons, we can only support credit cards for online sales. At the Box Office you can also pay in cash or by EC card. Important information: Tickets for 16-17 year olds can also be purchased in advance, the age check takes place at the entrance. Children under the age of 16 have Free admission and receive a free wristband at the information tent. Only persons of legal age are entitled to purchase tickets in advance.
