The Talking Heads, a cult band consisting of David Byrne, Jerry Harrison, Tina Weymouth, and Chris Frantz, put on a legendary rock show in the mid-1980s. At the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, they thrilled audiences both in the venue and watching on screen with 18 rousing songs. Director Jonathan Demme followed the band with his camera over three nights at the Pantages Theatre, attempting to capture the live experience on film.
