SPECIAL STAGE

When blind, visually impaired and sighted artists perform together on this Special Stage, you can experience what music really means: connection. What counts here is not what we see - but what we hear, feel and share with each other. You can expect blues, jazz, singer/songwriters and musical cabaret:

Eddy Edge comes from a village on the border with Wales and currently lives in Cologne. Music is his life. That's why he likes to sweep people away musically and create a good atmosphere.

"Annabelle & Joy", a duo from the Ruhr area, is dedicated to the blues and related genres. Witty lyrics with a message, joy of playing and the occasional spoken word interlude, all spiced up with Ruhrpott charm.

Lucas Wielpütz is a singer/songwriter from Bergisch Gladbach who moves people with his honest, warm and approachable songs. His lyrics pick up on everyday moments and tell them in such a way that you can find yourself in them: clear, sensitive and full of emotion, but without pathos.

Mario Rembold, songwriter, science journalist and stage biologist, brings catchy tunes between cabaret, kitsch and poetry, which he accompanies on guitar and ukulele, and sometimes he likes to talk a bit about the biology in the cell or strange worlds from mathematics between the songs.
