Sommerfest im Neuhauser Trafo
In the organizer's words:
Let’s celebrate, explore, and join in together!
From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Neuhauser Trafo will be a gathering place for young and old alike. In the evening, starting at 7:00 p.m., the summer festival will wrap up with a garden concert.
At information booths, you can get to know the various organizations that bring the Trafo to life and strike up a conversation right away. The Verein für Stadtteilkultur and Bücher&mehr e.V. invite you to their regular get-together. There’s plenty of action on offer, including face painting, graffiti workshops, dance-alongs, table tennis, insect hotel crafts, Bobby Car races, an exhibition, and a wheel-of-fortune lottery—there’s something for everyone here!
At 2:00 p.m., there will be a guided tour of the Neuhauser Trafo to get to know the programs and people who shape this place—from Kultur im Trafo, the History Workshop, and the Adult Education Center to the City Library: fascinating insights into the history and diverse uses of the space, plus a look behind the scenes.
At 3:30 p.m., Franz Schröther from the Neuhausen History Workshop will lead a tour of the Winthir Cemetery, starting at Kultur im Trafo.
Refreshments will be provided by the Fat Butcher bistro.
