Butterwegge Solo could also be called a "musical reading". Of course, there is music, mainly from his own pen, but there are also occasional borrowings from other, preferably German-speaking artists.

The Ruhrpott Original tells stories from tour buses, the bar, drunk cells, intoxication and punk rock and plays selected songs from 6 albums. The most recent work "Liebe & Revolte" made it to number 5 in the German album charts.

An evening that's sweet, sometimes trivial, but also intelligently serious, peppered with a good dose of self-mockery, always surprising, intimate and very honest.
