Sky Sounds mit KafaNar

Experience summer at THF: every Friday and Saturday, Sky Sounds transforms the roof terrace of the THF TOWER into an oasis for live music, DJ sets and cool drinks.

KafaNar is a solo performance by multi-instrumentalist Deniz Mahir Kartal. Originally from Istanbul and now at home in Berlin, he builds an aesthetic musical bridge between the Bosphorus and the Spree.

Through the perfect integration of rare instruments such as kaval, duduk and Çağlama as well as vocals from Anatolian traditions, a cross-border sound fabric is created that takes the audience on a rhythmic journey by mobilizing both the imagination and the body. With KafaNar, an exciting blend of traditional melodies with modern loops and rhythms, Deniz Mahir Kartal invites the audience to discover cultural resonance where tradition and artistic innovation meet in perfect harmony.
